Privacy policy

Short version: SSHTermaq collects nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry and no update checks, and it sends nothing to its author or to anyone else.
The app
SSHTermaq connects only to the servers, proxies and serial ports you tell it to use. What it keeps, it keeps on your computer:
- Your sessions and settings, in
%APPDATA%\SSHTermaqon Windows (or next to the program in a portable copy) and~/Library/Application Support/SSHTermaqon macOS. - The host keys of servers you trust, in the same folder.
- Passwords you choose to save, encrypted for your user account with Windows' data protection (DPAPI) or with a key kept in the macOS Keychain.
- Session logs, only when you turn logging on, in the file you choose.
Importing from PuTTY or OpenSSH reads their settings on your computer and copies them into SSHTermaq; nothing leaves your computer. You can delete everything SSHTermaq keeps by deleting the folders above.
The Microsoft Store and app stores
If you install SSHTermaq from a store, the store's own privacy policy covers what the store collects (for example your download and crash statistics). SSHTermaq itself adds nothing to that.
